Don't Date My Ex is an awareness and information project. It exists to help people recognize warning signs of abusive relationships and to point people toward professional help. It is not a news organization, investigative service, court, background-check provider, or law enforcement resource.
2. Third-party content
All videos, posts, captions, comments, names, images, and other material displayed through embeds on this site (“Third-Party Content”) are created, owned, and published by their respective creators and hosted by the platforms where they were posted (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and others). The site owner does not host these videos, does not control the content of the platforms, and does not alter the videos in any way.
- Third-Party Content is shown using each platform's publicly available embed tools, which are subject to that platform's own terms of service, community guidelines, and privacy policy.
- The fact that a video remains available on a platform means it was publicly posted by its creator. It does not mean the site owner has reviewed it for accuracy.
- If a creator deletes or restricts a video on the platform, the embed on this site will stop working or disappear.
3. Opinions and statements belong to their authors
Views, opinions, claims, and statements expressed in Third-Party Content are solely those of the individuals who made them. They do not represent the views of the site owner, and their inclusion is not an endorsement, adoption, or confirmation of any claim. This site links to outside organizations and services for people seeking help. Those organizations are independent. Their phone numbers, hours, and services can change, and the site owner is not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Please confirm contact details on each organization's own website.
7. Content removal and corrections
If you are a creator who wants your video removed from this site, or you believe material shown here is inaccurate, defamatory, private, infringing, or otherwise improper, contact us at the email listed below with the page, the platform link to the video, and a short explanation. We will review requests promptly and remove embeds where appropriate. Removing an embed from this site does not remove the original from the platform; that must be done with the platform or its creator.

8. Copyright and intellectual property
Third-Party Content remains the property of its creators and the platforms. The Don't Date My Ex name, logo, and original site design belong to the site owner. Nothing here grants you any license to copy or reuse Third-Party Content.

Contributions made through Cash App, Venmo, or similar services are voluntary gifts toward the cost of running and maintaining this website. Don't Date My Ex is not a registered charity unless stated otherwise, so contributions are not tax-deductible. Contributions are generally non-refundable. They do not create any ownership, membership, or editorial rights, and do not entitle anyone to have content added or removed.

Your hosting provider may also keep standard server logs.

These terms may be updated from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the site owner resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
